The city of Seoul is a bustling metropolis with a population of 10.4 million people. Nearly half of Korea's population live in the Seoul National Capital Area, which includees Incheon and most of Gyeonggi province (making up about 25 million residents). Love it or hate it, it is the heart and soul of Korea, an ugly edifice of communist style buildings to some, a design capital to others.

But as interesting a place as the city may be, what's the typical Seoulite profile? The Seoul City Hall apparently wondered the same thing and with Statistics Korea released a survey Monday that should reveal a little something about the residents who reside in Korea's capital city.
