Robert Park freed, what's the plan now?

Following a hearing with a judge, Robert Park has been freed ... but he may have something else "drastic" up his sleeves ... Robert Park was sexually tortured?

It seems Robert Park has been freed from the mental hospital following an appeal on March 5. The judge apparently allowed him to be released, though we're not sure whether his family is happy about that. Wasn't it his family that requested he be put in the care of authorities in the first place?

Again, we can't validate any of this information. The blog site is our only source, which appears to be reliable.

But unfortunately, it seems Robert has another stunt up his sleeves. The site said that he will try to return to S Koreea "at the earliest possible time" and do "something drastic at the DMZ."

Hopefully, wise people around him will try to dissuade him this time around.

Sexually tortured

According to a recent piece in the Chosun Ilbo, Rev. Jon Benson in an interview with VOA on March 4th said that "Park shows symptoms of anxiety and panic disorder and has trouble breathing to the point of being unable to communicate."

Jo Sung-rae, the president of Pax Koreana, a civic group, who worked with Park in South Korea to raise awareness about human rights in the North said that "after being taken to Pyongyang, Robert went through indescribably hideous sexual abuse. He called the North Korean regime more wicked than the Nazis."

A N Korean source also added that Park was severely beaten when he was arrested by guards.

"Park currently has communication problems due to anxiety caused by post-traumatic stress disorder," Benson told VOA, Chosun Ilbo said.
